I love studying economics and politics, specifically where the two intersect--public policy. I hope that this site promotes discussion but also is a resource for websites, authors and articles who flesh out market-directed answers to problems, whether they be social, environmental, or otherwise. I believe, and hope to convince you, that incentives drive human behavior. The market, allowed to move freely, will reward certain behaviors. A society can mold behavior by providing incentives. One such simple example is tax deduction offered for charitable giving. Charity would exist in our culture without a tax deduction, but I argue not in the frequency or volume we experience today. So, let's get started.
